Institution's Innovation Council

The Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) at SRM TRP Engineering College, established in 2018 and recognised with a 2-star rating by the Ministry of Education, is committed to fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship within the college. The IIC works to build a vibrant local innovation ecosystem, preparing students and faculty for emerging technological advancements.

It also promotes awareness of intellectual property rights (IPR) and the patenting process, offering practical support in filing patents and protecting intellectual property. Above all, the IIC aims to nurture a spirit of innovation and creative problem-solving across the college community.

Start-ups and Entrepreneurship Development Cell

The Entrepreneurship Development Cell at SRM TRP Engineering College creates a dynamic environment for innovation and enterprise. It supports students in launching their ventures through resources, mentorship, and networking opportunities. With backing from the Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute (EDII), Tamil Nadu, and the Government of Tamil Nadu, students from the CSE, ECE, and Mechanical departments receive guidance in establishing their own start-ups.
